Gonzagueville:
The FPI turns against northerners.

Le Patriote

The FPI has not really learned
any lesson from the war it brought about. Aware of its insignificance on the
ground, the so-called socialist party created by Laurent Gbagbo has decided to
remove from the electoral list honest citizens with the hope of winning the
presidential election. In Gonzagueville, in the city of Port-
Bouët,
citizens have increasingly become victims of slanderous denunciations by the FPI.
This activity is done by Golibi and Ndohi Valentin. The former is a zealous
militant of the FPI well-known for his rough attack against members of the
opposition in the Gonzagueville. The latter is an activist of COJEP, a NGO
created by Blé Goudé Charles.

funds for cantonment - Mrs Affoussy Bamba (FN spokesperson): « It is making fun
of the FAFN... »

The fixing of
the date for the first round of elections on 31 October 2010 has made the issue
of the cantonment of soldiers from the Armed Forces of the Forces Nouvelles (FAFN),
the funding of which has been delayed, resurface.  Mrs Affoussy Bamba
(spokesperson for the FN) said in a telephone interview yesterday, 9

August

2010, that the lack of available funds means there are no funds. «It is making
fun of the FAFN soldiers to tell them that there is money for them but it is not
available.  The minister of the Economy and Finance has always said that there
is money but there are procedures which need to be put in place in order for the
money to be released.

For us
this means there is no money. (...)
