UNESCO Resident Representative pays courtesy call on Special Representative

The Resident Representative of the United Nations Organisation for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), Mr. Yao Ydo, on Tuesday, 25 November 2014, paid a courtesy call on the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Côte d'Ivoire, Mrs Aïchatou Mindaoudou.



Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Mr. Yao said that he had told the Special Representative that UNESCO was ready to support her in the implementation of her mandate.



He also said that he and Mrs Mindaoudou had discussed aspects of United Nations Days, the information and sensitisation campaign organised by the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) in collaboration with UN agencies in different parts of the country.
