Special Representative of United Nations Secretary-General receives FPI president

The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Côte d'Ivoire and head of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI), Mrs Aïchatou Mindaoudou, on Tuesday, 15 April 2014, received a delegation of the Front Populaire Ivoirien (FPI) led by its president, Pascal Affi N'guessan, at the headquarters of the UN Mission in Abidjan.



Speaking at the end of the meeting, Mr. Affi N'guessan said that he and his delegation had discussed the latest decisions taken by the FPI regarding dialogue with the government, the national reconciliation process, the issue of human rights in Côte d'Ivoire, the freezing of accounts and the general census of the population.



« We discussed these issues, provided her with additional information on them and explained our motivation for taking these decision, while at the same time making it known that we are ready to resume dialogue within a more efficient framework.....," said the FPI president.
