    26 Jun 2017 - The final closure of UNOCI on 30 June 2017 illustrates Côte d'Ivoire's progress towards lasting peace and stability. Abidjan, June 26, 2017 - The mandate of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) ends on 30 June 2017, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2284, which established it, on 4 June April 2004, by its Resolution 1528 (2004), and on June 30, 2017, the mission was finally closed.
  • 16 Jun 2016 - Resolution 2284 unanimously adopted on 28 April 2016 by the Security Council of the United Nations decided that the mandate of the United Nations Operation in Côte d’Ivoire (UNOCI) will end on 30 June 2017. The reduction process of UNOCI civilian, military and police staff will continue until 30 June 2017, on which date, UNOCI will cease all of its operational activities in Côte d’Ivoire.
