Mrs Aichatou Mindaoudou congratules the elephants for the team spirit and cohesion which prevailed within the group and which permitted this historical victory, 23 years after Cote d'Ivoire's first ACN trophy at the Senegal 92 tournament.
Last Sunday's victory further shows that when Ivorians are united despite their differences, they can overcome any challenge.
"I am convinced that this victory will contribute to enhance the dynamics of peace, dialogue and national reconciliation in which Cote d'Ivoire is resolutely engaged," she stated.
