UNOCI deputy force commander for Sector West, Pierre Anani handed over the work on Tuesday 27 May 2014 to the school in the presence of administrative and military authorities in Daloa. According to the head of the military engineering corps, Colonel Iftekhar, the firing range has a distance of 62 meters and can accommodate 42 shooters and would not only serve the students but also UNOCI forces.
The commander of the school, Kone Sounan did not fail to express gratitude to UNOCI. "The rehabilitation permits us to henceforth optimize our training programme and would also benefit other military and paramilitary units of the 2nd military region which did not have such a facility," he said.
