
One of the speakers at the campaign, Pierre Aby of UNOCI Public Information Office in Duékoué advised the population to always seek the intervention of the Sub Prefect in disputes related to land and the forest. He called on them to be transparent among themselves and to avoid tensions that could have disastrous consequences. "{Land disputes should be referred to the land management committee which has been set up to guarantee social cohesion and peace in your village," }Mr. Aby said.

Jonas Siekpo of the Bonne Action NGO spoke of the consequences of neglecting tradition which results on misunderstandings, tensions and chaos. He encouraged the youths to have faith in their physical and intellectual potential and to be engaged in meaningful work. "{Engage in work for personal growth and the development of your village and country}," he advised.
