
The resolution was taken on behalf of the people by their chief Tra Bi Lopua on Wednesday 11 June 2014 during a sporting and cultural event organized by the UN Operation in Cote d'Ivoire (UNOCI).
The UNOCI delegation to the event was led by Said Bacar Husseine of the Civil Affairs Office in Daloa who encouraged the population to continue their efforts to bring Cote d'Ivoire to a lasting peace. "Peace will not be effective unless you forget your grudges and exercise forgiveness," he advised. He called on them to work towards a peaceful presidential election that would be free of violence

Other UNOCI staff took turns to educate the population about the mandate of their different sections and stressed the need for peaceful coexistence as the sole guarantee for the development of their village.
A spokesman for the youth in Dabrouza, Philippe Goore Bi Dje thanked UNOCI for the enlightenment and support to the Ivorian people within the framework of the peace process
