After the meeting at UNOCI HQ in Abidjan, Mrs. Bamba-Lamine said their discussions centred on the communication strategy of the Ivorian government which has been adopted by the Council of Ministers.
"{This strategy primarily concerns the promotion of social cohesion, national reconciliation, peace and security}," the Communication Minister explained. "{We are looking at ways of coordinating with the UN, our privileged partner, the implementation of this strategy}," she added.
During a previous meeting on 4 September 2013, the two personalities highlighted the importance of a "{responsible and professional press}" to promote the reconstruction and development of Cote d'Ivoire.
