Abidjan, 29 October 2013... The head of the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations, Hervé Ladsous, is visiting Côte d'Ivoire from 29 to 31 October 2013.
During his visit, Mr. Ladsous will take part in a retreat to mark the golden jubilee of the African Union.
In addition to the working sessions he will have with the management of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI), the head of UN Peacekeeping will also hold meetings with Ivorian civilian and military officials.
This is the seconde time Mr. Hervé Ladsous is visiting Côte d'Ivoire. He first came in June 2012.
