Team Sites Commander and G6 Officers Conferences

On 25 July 2012 at MINURSO HQ, Laayoune, was held the Team Site Commander Conference, chaired and inaugurated by the OiC Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Western Sahara and Head of MINURSO Maj. Gen. Abdul Hafiz. During the opening address, the Maj. Gen. Hafiz hailed the sense of duty and commitment of the MINURSO military personnel calling as constant search of effectiveness and adhesion to the UN values and principles. The aim of the Conference, a quarterly event, is to provide update information and analysis to the Team Sites Commanders (Smara, Mahbas, Oum Dreyga, Awsard, Bir Lahlou, Tifariti, Mehaires, Mijek, Agwanit).
